Fees

 

The fee per session is $220, but substantial rebates are available from Medicare if you have a Mental Health Care Plan.

Medicare Rebate

​

To be eligible to receive the Medicare rebates you will first need to visit your GP who will assess you against certain criteria and, if eligible, prepare a Mental Health Care Plan and provide you with a referral (referrals can also be made by Psychiatrists).

 

If eligible, you will be able to receive rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Your referring doctor will assess your progress after the first six sessions for a possible further four sessions.

Private Health Rebates

​

Most private health funds offer rebates for Clinical Psychology services if you have "Extras" cover. Rebates vary depending on your fund and your level of cover. Contact your health fund for the latest rebate information.

 

Please note that you are not permitted to use Medicare and private health insurance for the same consultation.
